Evidence-Based Wellbeing Coaching Rooted in Positive Psychology
Diana Diamantopoulos, positive psychology and wellbeing coach in Massachusetts

I’m Diana…

Wellbeing coach and positive psychology practitioner

For over 20 years, I’ve been passionate about helping people cultivate healthier, more meaningful, and fulfilling lives. My approach to wellbeing coaching is deeply rooted in positive psychology, behavior change science, and the belief that true wellbeing involves caring for the whole person — mentally, emotionally, physically, socially, and spiritually.

Growing up in a close-knit Greek family shaped my understanding of resilience, connection, compassion, and the importance of living with purpose. As a dancer since the age of five, I also developed an early appreciation for the mind-body connection and the role movement, self-awareness, and emotional wellbeing play in helping people truly thrive.

I am a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania’s Master of Applied Positive Psychology (MAPP) program, where I studied under Dr. Martin E. P. Seligman, Dr. Chris Peterson, and other pioneers in the field of positive psychology. I am also a National Board Certified Wellbeing Coach through Wellcoaches and spent 15 years coaching employees within a Fortune 100 financial services organization.

My professional background spans positive psychology, wellbeing coaching, behavior change, personal training, yoga, leadership development, relationship management, and coaching strategy. Today, I work with individuals seeking greater balance, resilience, emotional wellbeing, and intentional growth through evidence-based coaching rooted in compassion and real-life sustainability.

I live in Peabody, Massachusetts with my husband and two daughters and offer both virtual and personalized wellbeing coaching services.

My Approach

My coaching approach is grounded in positive psychology, behavior change science, and lifestyle medicine. Throughout the process, I integrate evidence-based practices, practical tools, and meaningful conversations designed to help you create lasting, sustainable change aligned with your values and goals.

During our initial session, we will work together to create a vision for your highest level of wellbeing — whatever that looks like for you personally. We’ll explore where you are today, where you want to go, and the strengths, motivators, values, and internal resources that can support you along the way.

Together, we’ll identify the patterns, challenges, or obstacles that may have kept you feeling stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or unable to fully pursue the life and wellbeing you want. From there, we’ll co-create realistic strategies and establish both short- and long-term goals that provide clarity, direction, and momentum.

Follow-up sessions are designed to support continued growth, self-awareness, and meaningful progress. We’ll reflect on what’s going well, revisit goals, navigate current challenges, and build the insight and skills needed to move forward with greater confidence and intention.

Each coaching conversation is designed to deepen self-understanding, encourage action, and support long-term wellbeing. My hope is that through the coaching process, clients not only create meaningful change, but also develop the tools and self-awareness to lead themselves with greater clarity, resilience, and purpose.

Insights & Resources

What is Positive Psychology?

1

Positive psychology is the scientific study of human flourishing, wellbeing, and what helps people thrive — not just survive.

Rather than focusing solely on problems, stress, or dysfunction, positive psychology explores the conditions that support resilience, meaning, emotional wellbeing, strong relationships, purpose, and personal growth.

Positive psychology combines evidence-based science with practical tools that help individuals build healthier thought patterns, stronger emotional awareness, and more fulfilling lives.

At Zoie Coaching, positive psychology is woven into the coaching process to help clients better understand themselves, reconnect with their values, and create sustainable change rooted in self-awareness, wellbeing, and intentional living.

What Does a Wellbeing Coach Actually Do?

2

A Wellbeing coach helps people create healthier, more fulfilling lives by supporting growth in areas like stress management, mindset, habits, emotional wellbeing , and life balance.

Using evidence-based tools and guided conversations, wellbeing coaching helps clients build self-awareness, clarify priorities, navigate challenges, and create sustainable change aligned with their values and goals.

At Zoie Coaching, the process is rooted in positive psychology and behavior change science to support lasting personal growth.

The Science of Flourishing

3

Flourishing is the experience of living with purpose, emotional wellbeing, strong relationships, resilience, and a sense of fulfillment. Positive psychology research shows that wellbeing is not simply the absence of stress or struggle - its the presence of habits, perspectives, and behaviors that help people thrive.

The science of flourishing explores how factors like gratitude, meaning, connection, optimism, self-compassion, and personal strengths contribute to long-term wellbeing and overall life satisfaction.

At Zoie Coaching, these evidence-based principles are integrated into the coaching process to help clients create more intentional, balanced, and fulfilling live

Signs of High-Functioning Burnout

4

High functioning burnout can be difficult to recognize because many people continue performing well externally while feeling exhausted internally.

Common signs may include chronic stress, emotional fatigue, irritability, overwhelm, difficulty slowing down, loss of motivation, and feeling constantly “on” despite needing rest.

At Zoie Coaching, the goal is to help clients identify these patterns early and create healthier, more sustainable approaches to wellbeing.
